A word from the founder

Over the past 25 years working in London & Dubai trading in financial markets and consulting, to entering the Whisky and Rum market, I’ve always been a driven, focused man with a strong purpose to succeed in anything I've ever done.

Building relationships is one of my strongest skillsets, face to face, seeing the whites of each other's eyes is where you know you can both trust each other in a working relationship, I prefer to put a face to a name when working with people so I can establish an understanding of exactly what my client's needs are and why they want to purchase Whisky casks.

My family on my fathers side are from Edinburgh, Scotland and from Donegal, Ireland, so I have a strong connection with both countries that produce the best quality of Whisky. A happily married family man with 2 beautiful children is what gives me the enthusiasm and motivation to drive my business to great success, delivering a trustworthy, transparent experience to all my clients alike.

I’ve always noticed a gap in the market. A gap for a platform that simplifies the Cask buying process and allows everyone, not just High Networth Investors or millionaires to own their own single barrel of Scotch, Irish Whisky or Japanese Whisky. A space that educates people and helps each collector in their journey of owning a cask from their favourite distillery, and staying with them through the years of maturation, as their whisky ages, and helping them through the exit stages, whether that may be selling on the open market or bottling it for their own use.

When acquiring a cask, you purchase whisky while it is ageing. You do not purchase a single bottle with a label. You obtain a barrel of whisky as it ages. One cask may produce between 200 and 300 bottles, and because the cask enhances the flavour of the whisky over time, the longer the whisky is aged in the cask, the more expensive it potentially becomes.
